Dan Haught, Owner
Dan earned the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Abilene Christian University and was named Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Dan is licensed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as a Licensed Irrigator (#4426) and a Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (#8740). He is also licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture as a commercial pesticide applicator (#0745224). Dan is recognized by the University of Georgia as a Certified Turfgrass Professional; the Purdue University Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management for Turfgrass Pest Management completion; and the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association as a Texas Certified Nursery Professional (#4230).
Kevin Roberts, Chief Executive Officer
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Abilene Christian University and a Masters of Arts in Leadership and Strategic Communication from Seton Hall University. Throughout his career, he has held a number of leadership positions in a variety of industries ranging from higher education to information technology. The common theme has been a passion for customer service and employee development. Kevin joined MasterScapes in 2022. His array of experience helps MasterScapes continue to grow and remain a leader in the landscaping industry. He is fully committed to helping our clients “Landscape for Life.”
Jordan Phillips, Director of Operations
Jordan is a cum laude graduate of Tarleton State University earning the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Services and Development. He is licensed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as a Licensed Irrigator (#17186) and by the Structural Pest Control Service of the Texas Department of Agriculture as a Commercial Applicator (#45969). Jordan is a father of two. He enjoys traveling with his family to watch his kids show in livestock competitions across the state. Jordan joined MasterScapes in 2007.
Stephen Myers, Landscape Division Manager
Stephen graduated from Abilene High School and earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas Tech University. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the MasterScapes team. He is a Texas Registered Landscape Architect (#1914) and is also licensed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as a Licensed Irrigator (#7323). Stephen, a married father of two, is active in the soccer community and enjoys coaching select teams. Stephen joined MasterScapes in 2016.
Jessica Stanton, Controller
Jessica earned her Associate of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Accounting from Cisco College in 2017. She has a passion for learning and exploring new things and places. Jessica enjoys traveling and working on her real estate portfolio. Her professional experience combined with intelligence and passion for learning new things led her to MasterScapes in 2019.
Our Landscape Architects
Tom Martin, Landscape Architect
Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A & M. Tom is a Texas Registered Landscape Architect (#1632) with strong analytical and design skills. He has an extensive working knowledge of ornamental and native plant materials. His experience ranges from upper end residential projects in the Park Cities in Dallas, Municipal projects for the cities of Abilene, Albany, and Breckenridge as well as numerous garden projects for private residences, estates and ranch projects in the Abilene area. Tom has created unique spaces utilizing layered plantings, pergolas, fountains, stone retaining walls, various pavers for patios and swimming pools. Tom has been employed with MasterScapes since 2000. Tom and his wife Susan enjoy reading, learning new things and traveling.
Steve Eilers, Landscape Architect
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University. Steve is a Registered Landscape Architect (#3138). For the past 10 years, he practiced landscape architecture in Houston for both public and private clients on a broad range of large-scale projects, including master-planned communities, corporate campuses, municipal parks and trails, mixed-use developments, higher education campuses, healthcare campuses, commercial developments, transportation enhancements, and pedestrian and vehicular bridge aesthetics. His diverse background has fostered a well-rounded approach to solving complex project challenges. Steve joined MasterScapes in 2022. Outside of work, Steve is happily married and has two young boys that keep him busy.
